what kind of problems are you running into. i guess pistons not lasting too long is a big one.

i know people with stroked 4g63ts in eclipses have problems with the trannies, but eclipses have tranny problems anyway. i guess the extra torque rips up the drivetrain really fast on those cars, but i think the evo has a better drivetrain.

i think you just might have stroked it too far man. 2.33 is a little over kill. JUN makes the 2.2 and i thought that was the most you could go before you run the cylinder walls too thin or something.

Nah, TODA RACING has a 2.3 kit....the bore is 88mm but the stroke is 100mm too long for my tastes. Too much unwanted stress on the rods and bolts...not to mention the wear it must be doing to the cylinder walls

True, all of that stroke will create very high piston speeds! Maybe that is why they wear out so fast?

I've got a 2.3ltr stroker Evo 8. 30/76 turbo running full boost around 30ish psi. It has 442 wheel KW and extremely high torque. I'm currently on my 3rd gearbox. Shattered 2 six speeds and now running a 5 speed twin plate race clutch. Great fun of an engine no turbo lag what so ever. But it does chew drive train parts due to extremely high torque.
