Thats actually not too bad. You still lost power from 3500-4250 rpm. Gained 10-12 ftlbs and 40 hp up top. I would like to see c16 numbers between the two turbos.

Seems like the trade off for minimal gains is spool. I wonder how a 20g-9-5-LT would hold up?

Nice work they did though.

looking over at the powerband curve, not very inpressive at all. Also the number are not that much highger and also it's rev to higher rpm when dyno the 3037 turbo. you'lll better off and save money with the buschur 20GLT

its not so much that i lost power from 3500-4200, its that it moved over some. so i lost down low but gained tq higher. and this is a bigger trbo so it should shine on race gas and c16. i have seen 500whp with the same set ups and kits.

Not sure why you're not that impressed. We all know you will lose spool and torque down low if you go to a bigger turbo. This turbo's power stays flat to 7500 while the stocker dies at 7000. The torque holds on a lot longer too. This setup would pick up even more power with 1 or 2 more psi on pump gas.The spool isn't as bad as i thought it would be. Nothing beats the stocker in torque down low...but nobody upgrades their turbo to gain power down low. If you go big, topend is where its at.

i also want to add that the 20g run was with more boost. it also had a creep to it. the 20g would hit 1.6 and creep to 1.7 bar. i wouldnt even get on it on a cold day because it would go beyond that. scary. so with this 3037s and the tial is more steady with the hallman. it will hit 1.5 bar and hold, no creep.

so lets break this down

20g-9-5 352whp with 23.2 creeping to 24.65psi

3037s 396whp with 21.75 psi. now what Dan did notice with the 3037s turbo was that each psi was about like 20hp or so.

u have to realize that every mustang dyno is different. there perameters can be messed with where as a dynojet is what it is. so u can possibly get inflated or deflated numbers. but yes the 91 will hurt u. did u port it?

I ported the hell out of it no divider Ive been tuned by them before. He's (gst) pretty much done bigger turbo's dyno tunes and the such. If not i'll have to tuner retune with another local or so if i dont feel satisfied with the results. But here locally they're mddyno is commonly known as a "heartbraker" as its harder for a 8 to make 300 whp cammed on 91pisstane gas.
