real intercooler test on the way
I really appreciate what you are trying to do. Everyone just has to remember that there are other factors besides horsepower. Fitment without rubbing, mounting points, rugged design, and profile. By profile, I mean to say does it hang so low that on lowered cars you have to worry about smashing it on driveways, curbs and other road obstacles.
why would anyone care about the fitment that much. People buy intercooler so their cars can perform better. Or else they will just keep my stock one. Unless you are one of those who buy **** just to look good. this is a performance test and not some ricerr cosmetic work

Some of us do not want to cut pieces of the car to make something fit - what does that have to do with ricer cosmetic work?
Would you cut your fenders to fit wider wheels

Do you know much about cars? You must by the guy that buys a nice car, then destroys it by means of ghetto rigging.
The testing has not started yet. He is still rebuilding the motor from a mishap on a dyno. The car should be on the streets ready for the innercooler testing this weekend. Just subscribe to the thread and be ready for the results.
looking forward to the results. I've had the ebay IC for some time now, I know if performs atleast as well as the stocker based on my own track results. I'm sure the buschur unit will do excellent also, those guys don't fool around, but will it be worth the preimum price... that is the question.
I wouldnt mind a little custom modification but nothing more than like 10-15 minutes. Maybe a little finess is needed but fitment is really everything. You dont just buy something for performance, you need a mix of quality and performance.
