clutch bleed question
clutch bleed question
hey, i have just installed my ats twin carbon. ive converted to a push type now. my friends and i have tried several times to bleed it, but it is not working. ive tried the method of opening bleed valve, depress clutch, close bleed valve, let up again and again. nothing.
ive tried using a vacum hose, opening valve, release clutch, to see if fluid will be sucked into the slave cylinder. no luck....
when i do a regular air bleed from the clutch slave cylinder, i keep getting a small splurge of fluid coming out.
i checked for leaks on the line, no leaks found
no pressures when i pump or try do the following above.
so any suggestions would greatly be appreciated

are you keeping the reservoir filled ABOVE the max line when bleeding? You have to keep it above the max line or you will continue to suck in air and bleed until your eyeballs fall out. Open the bleeder, depress the clutch pedal, close the bleeder, raise the clutch pedal, then fill the reservoir as much as possible. It will take a while too.
