Correct.

I have made more power on a stock intercooler with LICP than the HKS "race" upgrade with all the piping. Just think how the Ebay compares to that?

Have you done a comparison with your fmic and the ams fmic?

No I have not. This is an old thread that I don't care to entertain any further.

If I didn't truly believe our products were the best I'd change them to something else, I am in it to win it.

Come on.... This is a guy that sell ams fmic, yes he would say anything to make the other guys look bad. I smell a rat! Sorry man, I just can't believe with the same thickness like the ams, that the temp would get almost 60 degree more. That's to me is such bs....sorry
Because of this, I will save up and buy a eBay fmic and will be performing some test myself.

its the fin design, im going to be testing Temps on my Evo Ix when its up and running using a VRSF 4" intercooler to prove the nay sayers wrong about that intercooler. I just got a new Fluke Thermal Dealy at work to use to! Most of the other Ebay intercoolers that he tested i could DEFINITLY see temps being high, as the fin design is cheap. So yes i could definitly see this test being 100% correct

You sir are an idiot. Buschur sells Buschur FMICS not AMS. Buschur didn't do the testing for no reason and even states why he did it. Why waste your money. You get what you pay for. Stop being stupid.

I think you just don't understand or you are trolling. Dave wont be baited by this ish anyways. It's a cheap core that doesn't have a fin design to transfer heat. It literally is a heat sink that allows hot air to shoot through it until it heat soaks.

Get a Garret core and be done with it. 4" thick,

This test was done back in 2007 and the eBay core at the time was the AMS old style fake.

Why would Buschur waste his time testing each core that's on eBay and saying which one works? He did this to prove a point that a good quality front mount is important as the rest of the mods you do to your car.

If you want to, go a head and buy the eBay stuff. We are not stopping you. If they work for you and others, great, stick with it but for us that do want to support a good company and good products, we'll buy our "overpriced" front mounts.

Other then that, don't throw the word "stupid" and "fool" around when Buschur did the test and gave us numbers. Sure, it makes his products look good but it also gives us a thought that "hey, maybe a quality front mount is important to keep temps and knock down".

And then you say "you can't read"? I suggest looking up what "heat soak" is before saying that as I think you completely missed the point in this test. He only lost 10WHP compared to his front mount, which isn't much. Try looking at the temps instead of the power he made. He also said there was a lot of knock, which is bad if you didn't know. Heck, I don't even know if you know the purpose of a front mount. Either way, your car. Do whatever you want. Don't come crying when you have a high knock count.
