Why not support the establishment that took the time to perform the test

I dont see the point of supporting a group that really doesnt support the evo's anymore. AMS has moved on, to them the evo is a eclipse/dsm. GTR's are the new thing

+1.

Support vendors actually interested in our platform. ETS, Buschur, CBRD, or VRSF, in no particular order.

The VRSF shows promise for the money. I would only recommend to get the same intercooler as whoever you have your intercooler pipes from. ETS and Buschur have slightly different angles.

I still have not found a better performing intercooler than our Race FMIC we offer.

bit of an old post I know and I couldn't be arsed reading 28 pages of s#$t, but curious when testing the intercoolers was pressure drop across them tested?
Also you mentioned that a smaller turbo with higher air temps would require a better intercooler but if the smaller turbo making less power has a lesser volume of air which won't take as much cooling??
Good test all the same, I would be quite keen to see testing of other know brands there are some seemingly good units out there for around the $400 mark.
Need someone with a proper flow bench and test rig to go through and test a whole heap of them.
My own Evo has a race radiator 600*300*75 which is made in NZ, I suspect now with 800whp it might be getting small which is why this thread caught my attention, I have mounted both temp and pressure either side of the intercooler for the next dyno test to see how it's performing but I suspect I'll need to replace it.
