sorry to ask a stupid question but i want to get this right before i do it and i didnt see a definite answer on any threads on the topic.

crc maf sensor cleaner is fine, despite the back of the bottle saying it shouldnt be used, as long as we dont use the straw nozzle and spray from a distance?
&
after spraying the maf sensor should i let it run off onto a towel to dry or should i wipe it gently to dry ??

thank you !

Now that it has been 6 months, did the MAF cleaner eat away at the foam in the Perrin intake?

took maf off the other day, it was very dirty, a lot of gunk build up etc. i got most of it off although around the red wire there is still a little bit as i didnt want to spray it too much, otherwise the rest is clean. is there anyway i can clean around the red wire without risk of damaging and having to replace a new maf lol ?
