Also I got my crank for free, so I had an assembled stroker motor for about 1700 dollars including the rods and pistons and install, so unless you can put a 2.4 motor together for less than that amount of money I'd say go and buy another ATP kit to port.

Not true.

Yeah, I will only be running one however.

Using this sort of design it allows you to choose between a 44mm or a 38mm depending on your choice you throw a block off on which ever one you dont use or do a 44mm recirculated through the 38mm hole or recirc the 38mm into the downpipe or just dump it.

I will be running a 44mm as you can see dumped to the atmosphere.

Vband's>hex screws and gaskets, and I'm a baller. I was thinking about throwing some wiggins clamps in the IC but the cost would just be silly.

I'm all about things that are easy to maintain and fool with, to remove the waste gate I will need to undo two bolts, it will seal perfectly everytime and I will never blow a gasket or seal with a Vband.

Plus, Full-Race uses Tial 44mm's and that might as well be from the mouth of god.

My question for you is, besides cost why would you run a 38mm gate?

What are you going to run on your 40R? Are you doing twin scroll? If so two wastegates are gunna be pricy and I would do two 38mm's unless you want to splurge.

As much as my fuel setup can provide......

Do you even know how a wastegate works? High boost doesn't require a bigger wastegate, the less boost you run the bigger the wastegate you need...... You should really just stop posting.

Here is a quote from some random website....
"Without a wastegate, the amount of boost that a turbocharger creates varies with the pressure of the engine's exhaust. This happens because exhaust pressure varies with relation to the engine's speed (measured in RPM's). This implies that as an engine reaches higher RPM's, increasing amounts of boost will be created by the turbocharger. The problem with this is that an engine can only accomodate a given amount of boost. Most stock engines are only meant to take about 10 PSI if not less. In order to regulate the amount of boost that comes into the engine, a wastegate acts as a door only allowing a given amount of exhaust to hit the turbocharger's exhaust turbine."

1000cc Precision Injectors and a Walboro, I'lll let u know how it goes steelcity, 35R should be a nice upgrade from the 3076, I am making the same move, wouldn't consider it without a stroker setup though.
