I have the 280s. I have them on a stock turbo setup for a while now.

They will work with anything make sure you get a tune after putting them in. Power gains are based on what you have done to the car already. You should see atleast 10whp more like i said based on setup.

Only thing i could see wrong with cams is if you do mostly highway driving; as it ups your RPMS while cruising

I've had 280 Tomei cams for a long time. No complaints. I would tune asap after install but don't worry the car won't blow up if you drive it to shop. I drove from mine from Dallas Tx to Houston Tx (250miles) to get tuned.

Is that with a stock turbo and how much power did you make?

This is a totally false statement. Cams have nothing to do with gear ratios...........

Please do some research before you post.

I too am looking for a good set of cams....bang for buck wise. I plan on using a 20G-lt turbo in the near future, so i'm looking for a aggresive cam, but not too crazy expensive.

I can get HKS cams @ cost. I'm not sure about anything else, but because of this....i seriously considering some HKS 280's. I am also looking at some GSC cams, but not sure about those yet.

We shall see.

I have BC 272/272.

My rpms at cruise went down a couple hundred RPM's. Really nice plus.

Also idle is damn near perfect.

You can get a set for 300.

did you dyno with those cams? I would be interested to see a chart with them. I'm thinking the bc 280/280 combo or the HKS 280/280 combo.
