I decided to go with TTP. From what I've heard both TTP and Jestr are the best in the biz. I decided to try TTP just because Jestr decided to increase there pricing to $150. I logged my runs and listed my mods and BAM, I had a new map within a couple of hours ....on a Sunday. TTP treated me very well and I would recommend them to anyone.
Well, I had a flash from all the listed vendors. I first had a Vishnu mail in flash on my evo8 and I wasn't to impressed with the power but good CS, then I got a Works mail in flash it was a bit pricey they also had good CS, but it was way too conservative for me. Next I got a base map from dynoflash and for some reason it kept cutting out at a certain rpm and couldn't figure it out. Someone offered to buy the car I flashed it back to stock. Got an evo 9 and went with a Jestr eflash for the time being to get me by. He was quick to response and answered questions in a timely manner.
Bottomline was that I needed a custom tune for the setup that I had. Scott from TTP kept in touch with me when I first requested for it. After he finished my custom street tune the car was a whole new machine! I was very impressed with his customer service, knowledge and expertise on tuning. TTP gets my vote for a job well done! I would recommend to anyone else looking to get tuned right!

I just saw this response. Sorry for the late rebuttal. I asked you if I could get a free adjustment, but you told me no. I'll see if I can find the message and post it here.

I doubt you actually need to post up for people to believe you, but he is an honest man.
I rarely frequent EvoM im mostly on NCE or SCE alot of the time. Although when I am on here I do read alot, and it helps. As on this subject matter I would pick Bryan@GST Motorsports..
While us guys in Cali dont run big boost and high octanes like you guys in the east and south I would say GST's reputation speaks for itself.
Ive been slowly building a custom (road) tune for my car with very very mild mods (i.e. K&N Drop-In). And helping in my quest for better knowledge is Bryan (razorlab). Right away he got ride of my knock and made my car alot healthier by enriching the afr's.
However, Bryan is not on the list. From what ive read and got into contacts with your best bang for the buck would be Mellon Tuning. For bigger mods go with Jestr.
Thats my $.02

I dont know if we are allowed to post negative experiences with the tuners listed in the polls, if not I guess it can be deleted, but this is my honest experience and other people have a right to know especially when it comes to your car. First off though If CBRD ( a tuner himself ) says that TTP tunes are good, then Scott must be doing something right so hats off to you man, wish you were available when I first got a mail flash couple years ago, but now ecuflashed has saved some of us from looking elsewhere for a tune. There were not many cheap choices like now so I went with a Dynoflash mail in to raise stock limits and requested to remove the taper because at $199 it was the cheapest at the time(waste of 200 bucks IMO). I must not lie the taper was gone but so was my boost error correction, primitive or not the timing had blocks of 8's throughout the WOT portion of the map which like NJ says as well as many others know, is no way to tune, the low and high timing maps were the same which is something else I didnt not like, and earlier in this thread he says he targets high 10's afrs - low 11afrs, but mine were low 10 to high 9 afrs. Thank god for mitsubishi engineers for creating such a great safegaurd in the ecu and EVO4MAD for creating evoscan because it let me know my car was knocking in the doubledigit numbers even being that rich. I have to say though reading this forum every day you never read any negatives about TTP or Jester or anyone else flashing EVOs for that matter so good job fellas way to keep your track record clean. Its great to know that newcomers as well as people who do not know much about tuning still have good options to turn to.

I voted in the poll a lot time ago - Voting for TTP, saying if I ever did an email tune it would be TTP due to all of the positive reviews they get. I had a custom tune by another vendor awhile back and didn't want to lose it to a "non-custom" tune. Well, my custom tune was nothing but knocks that I didn't know about (new to logging and such). The difference between it and the TTP tune is like night and day - money I should have spent a long, long time ago. TTP is the third vendor I got flashed from and when the time for a tune comes up again, TTP is where I will go to.
Mellon - Give this man a round of applause.
In conclusion, grade A tuner...reliable, always available, answeres email quickly and responds to aim..very down to earth guy and takes the time to answer any questions......day i paid, was the day i got my first ecu flash map...+++++100000000000000000 on service.
well...
here is my opinion...
we've seen lots of flashes lately... JESTR, AMS, GSC, Dynoflash, TTP, Ivey etc etc...
I can say that most them have been very nice..... i will not say which was not...
I think that everyone really has their hands around these cars.... and I think out of that list, its easy to see who really enjoys being here and working clients on their cars...... just as we do....
We have good relationships with many of those listed in this thread, and I share our maps with GST on the west coast etc... so they can see our standard 93 octane maps, and we can see their 91s (which we RARELY tune for)... I have also shared maps with No limit etc....
anyway... I think my point is, there are a few very talented tuners available to you... pick whom you feel is the best fit for you.... that will give you the best result....
Cheers,
chad b
