The difference between it and the TTP tune is like night and day - money I should have spent a long, long time ago. TTP is the third vendor I got flashed from and when the time for a tune comes up again, TTP is where I will go to.
Thanks for another positive review.

Actually you still have your custom tune saved in your hard drive.

I am not sure you would ever want to put it back however with 11* timing at peak torque and 26* timing at 7000rpms on pump gas.

How these engines ever stay together is beyond me. Its no wonder anyone thinks they can tune. The ECU proves very effective in protecting these engines. I think the saving grace for this car was a low octane map that looked like what a high octane map should have looked like.

Nevertheless, I am glad you and in much better hands now.

Yes we have evo's but that doesnt mean we like to throw away money. With mellon you get great customer service, A+ tune...went from 10 knock(used evo with f'ed mappings) to a 0 knock great tune by mellon.

In conclusion, grade A tuner...reliable, always available, answeres email quickly and responds to aim..very down to earth guy and takes the time to answer any questions......day i paid, was the day i got my first ecu flash map...+++++100000000000000000 on service.

wow, thanks for the glowing review

Are any of you vendors going to be at MOD '07 at Normal, IL doing flashes?? I know some of you guys come out to the Cali one. It would be real awesome for those of us who are in the Midwest region...

There are a couple of vendors up there who I would never give my business to so my vote goes for the DIY tuner.

Can't say anymore except that he's always maintained the same great outstanding attitude from the day I met him. Which is a very good quality in a person. IMO anyways.
