Any tricks for getting B-pipe nuts off at the stock cat??

Welp right now I am letting the WD40 settle in....but those nuts are on pretty tight....I have no air tools and am on my side trying to get it off. I can only imagine what a ***** this will be on the driver side......anyone got any tips????

This is most certainly not my first exhaust install....done plenty of hondas....but I really dont want to screw anything up ROFL

Use a breaker bar if you have one.

They torqued the **** out of mine and it took some muscle.

I actually used a some metal pipe and pushed it threw the wrench handle so I could get better leverage.

good luck

^. Get a breaker bar AND a metal pipe to add some leverage. Dont use wd40 and get some liquid wrench or pb blaster. What also helps is to get the car warmed up. This gets the bolts nice and hot and are MUCh easier to remove. Plus the added heat will help the liquid wrench to soak through.

Could not have said it any better. Those bolts sucked. But get some Pb blaster, that stuff works better than wd40 imo.

Propane torch for a bit...then take the water hose and shock the nut with water..

You can snap a bolt off even faster with an impact. Not a good idea.

I actually got it off with just WD40 and my hand wrench....basically I got my feet on the mid pipe and pulled toward myself while pushing with my feet and they both came off....
