How do i remove 02 sensor from 02 housing?

We spray the crap outta the sensor, use an open wrench and hitting with a hammer, while one guy standing on the exhaust manifold (turbo swap). Almost strip the damn sensor.

I ended up taking it to a local exhaust shop. The guy used a 02 sensor socket and broke it loose with a few swift hits to the ratchet. First "bolt" ive ever had to bow down to, hehe.

Just goes to show that using the proper tools usually makes the job a lot easier.

The 02 sensors seem to be cross threaded from the factory, at least mine was and so was several of my friends. This is why they can be such a pain to get out the first time.

You can also try shocking it. Take a butane torch and heat up just the threaded part. Not so much you melt it. But it can take some heat. After you get it up to operating temps, take some water or a hose and spray it right on it. That usually works...
