No, its all in your head. The stock IX holds 24-26psi. Unless youre running MORE than that, you did not feel a difference, you just experienced the placebo effect.

I don't know, I must've swapped back and forth a crap load of times within one weeks time. And when I shifted it felt like the stocker just wasn't holding as good.

Well maybe I should inform you a blow off valve inst suppose to hold anything during a shift. Thats when its open. It holds boost when youre at WOT. Its completely in your head, believe me.

Right, I understand it isn't supposed to hold boost during shifts, it's after I shift and it's supposed to hold boost that I felt a difference. But, it probably is all in my head.

ON a side note regarding backfire, I was messing around with a GT3076R meth'd EVO IX tonight and after the 2nd run, I shot out a 4 foot TALL flame that lit my back bumper on fire partially. I have boils on the paint. Believe that.
