Evo IX thorwout bearing noise...normal?
I have 6000 miles on my IX SE. I have never launched the car or taken it to any tracking events. Just daily driving with the occasional WOT runs. I'm not sure if I just now figured out the noise, or just became aware of it, but it seems as if my throwout bearing or something related to the clutch is making a slight noise. If I engage the clutch in neutral it stops. If I let it out, I hear it. Anyone else have this issue? Should I worry, or just let it go for now and see what happens?

it happens on all evos or all the evos ive been in just ignore it, unless it goes really effing loud then you need to replace the throwout bearing but from what you are saying its normal

I dont have a sound like that, or maybe my exhaust is too loud for me to hear it, but they way you describe the sound it seems like a TOB that is starting to go bad. But like others say as long as it does not get louder I think you are fine.
