WOT porting?
Good point Ron. The peak number is based off the highest dyno read value.
however the 3 runs made with the oem were within 1.8 whp of each other & the 3 pulls with 65mm tb run were within 2 whp of each other. so for the most part, the dyno was reading fairly consistant alonfg with the tune. power did not degrade from run to run due to an overly aggressive/ambitious tune.
the 2 runs from each config were the highest peak value. the 8.3 does in fact come from the peak numeber, but clearly there is a 5whp gain made about 90% across the entire power curve.
hence the statement of:
"My 65mm tb vs oem tb dyno comapre illustrating a avg. of 5whp gain / max 8.3 whp gain over oem"
it's funny how someone who is willing to disect the finer points of a dyno chart is capable of missing the bold print describing the dyno chart
ron- all 3 runs with the 65mm tb were higher than the best oem run.
The higher reading values on the dyno graph posted were experienced with the 65mm tb, not the other way around. Not just the 8.3 whp gspike that your refering to or implying was the only gain. i can email you or anyone else a copy of the scan if you want, so you can view it closer. just pm me your emial address
since your a stickler for detail, please tell me the differnce's you see in the other vendors 65mm tb whp claim from their dyno compare........oh wait, there arent any
