I have the nisei LICP and I love it, if I were to do the upper Id definitely go with them again, really quality product... Also the nisei upper works with stock intake I believe... Correct me if Im wrong.

You absolutly DO NOT have to remove the front bumper to put on the licp. When i put mine on all i did was remove the plastic undertray and had no problems at all. The only slight pain in the *** was getting off the top bolt off the stock licp. But a little patience and it was done.BTW i used my buddys lift which made it a lot easier than jacking it up and laying on the ground.BTW i used the Buschur licp which fit like a glove.

The LICP is a definite. The UICP is pretty much up for debate, however, I like it. I would say keep stock unless you are going to get a straight one, like the Buschur, AMS, or ETS one. They will provide the most benefits (less piping, less bends, more diameter). They do require a mini battery but I think thats a good thing. It sheds weight off the front and it makes the engine bay much more user friendly. It also makes the engine bay look 10x better, but some people care more about that than others.

Cliffnotes: UICP not totally necessary, but if you do it, get a good one like BR, AMS, ETS. I would definitely not bother with ones like Injen, Helix, etc.

Also, I dont know what sort of problems youve had with Buschur, but they make great ICs & IC piping. I had it on my Talon and loved it, now have it on my EVO and love it even more.

Nisiei makes a great LICP, and it now has a bracket that mounts to the stock location so it stays put!

I give my guys "permisssion" to be an ******* if they are treated like one. Not saying that is what happened but having a bad experience at our shop two times is hard to believe.

Sorry to hear you have built your EVO using parts from many vendors at the lowest cost. I can assure you that your car is slower from doing this..........atleast you saved yourself some money though!

I hope my post has added to your positive experience with our shop.

By the way, there are no strippers at our shop, not during the day anyway.
