the best solution for this now is a stiffer engine mount and torque dampner...

however...a better solution is going with the RalliArt HD lightweight clutch..
I didnt think it was the clutch, since i had it without that issue.

I was hoping it was the mounts which i am going to change since im guess my engine and tranny just move too much. At the moment thats the only thing i can think of that would cause the issue.

So has the problem gone away for you with the upgraded monts?

I figured it was because of the hydraulic release bearing that caused the pedal to be so springy, more like an off and on switch compared to other clutches.

It grabs a hell of a lot harder when going through the gears. Even when just cruising. So i started driving it different when going through the gears.

Not to mention the noise that it makes when starting into first gear. The chatter isnt so bad tho.

I cant be heard at drive throughs when i drive the EVO i am always told to drive up to the first window and my order will be taken there. hahaha. squeeeee squoooooo aghhhhhhh then theres the exhaust.

But i had the tilton with a stock motor and a reflash and i didnt have that problem. So i was hoping maybe i just have too much engine movement or something that i can fix while its down.
I hope to have it fixed by my b-day in August. Then go look for all the big boys in Mia.
whats weird is that my brother in laws tilton ceramic is no where near as loud as yours.its quieter than my exedy.i was expecting it to be as loud as yours.

How long has he had it installed?

If its still pretty new under ~600 miles it will get louder.

Your clutch is likely being overstroked. You should be using a TILTON PEDAL STOP for this reason as it will limit the travel of the hydraulic release bearing. When overstroked it tries to re-engage the clutch again.

Do you have a tilton clutch?

You said you have the same problem but with a different clutch. I would imagine over stroke is only a problem on push type clutches.
