Cant get into any gear

Hi everybody.

Well I just finished running some logs on the car and doing some third gear pulls and when it was done it was kinda hard to get into first. I stopped the car for about 15 minutes and when I got back in all the gears would not want to go in. After a while I could get into first and once Im moving it shifts great but if Im completely stopped then its hard to get into every gear. 2nd, 3rd and 5th are not hard to get into but 1st is very hard and 4th is impossible. I havent tried reverse yet. I dont know what it is because when Im driving it goes into gears perfect. Also I havent launched it in weeks and its only been launched 4 times. Any ideas?

bleed your clutch line with better fluid, sounds like youre heating up the fluid so the clutch isnt completely disengaging which makes it basically grind into gear.

Also you should change your tranny and diff fluids since you bought it used and most likely dont know the last time they were changed, alot of people neglect maintenance when they plan on selling a car.

Cheers!

check linkages under hood (shifter bushings) and definitely +100 ^^ (4WS tuning)... Had a similar problem and one of the bushings cracked and was mashed... Fluids throughout due to used vehicle purchase... and wouldn't synchro's be possible since you can only get into gear while moving??? GL..

Ok well the problem is gone. As I would step on the clutch it felt really short so i took a closer look and the clutch was still engaged halfway so i pulled it all the way up and it fixed the problem. Any ideas why it would have been stuck halfway engaged?

Ive been driving around with it for a bit and the problem has not reoccured so Im just wondering what would have caused it

i think i may have the same prob, im gonna try to change tranny and diff fluid, see how that works out, when im coming to a stop, around 5mph , shift into 1st gear, even though it should go in smooth

Hard to get into first gear? Double clutch it No joke it goes in smoooooth. Just put it in neutral, release clutch, blip gas, pull in clutch and put into gear. No problems!
