Makes Sense Now!!!
Quote: Well for the upper you would want to run a mini battery kit which will allow you to run your pipe in a shorter route, not as many bends..etc. Buschur, AMS, Nisei, ETS, etc all run an uicp with a mini battery which cuts of a decent amount of length and bends from the upper charge piping.

The lower not much you can really do....straight into a 180 into the ic will cut a few inches off because the stock licp does a few weird bends that arent necessary.

Getting rid of the rubber pieces and having an uicp that runs the same route as the stocker again is more for show than performance, the only way to get the benefit of a good charge pipe system is to make the shortest and most direct route possible (eliminating unnecessary bends) to the intercooler and out to the throttle-body.

Thanks man, now i understand wut u mean. And it makes prefect sense. Absolutely right.

Quote: Because it's the intake that makes BOVs loud, not just the BOV itself. That's why we tell people who ask how to get the BOV sound to just get an intake.

A lot of people are using the Injen stuff - didn't you search to make sure before purchasing? It's shiny stuff that doesn't make much power, because it follows the stock IC piping route.
Which is quite ironic since there isn't an upper IC pipe out there that makes much power anyways.
