Which MBC?

Did some searching and some researching about which MBC to go with. Seems like the Forge Unos and Hallman and the two favorites. Question is with the hallman there is the Hallman pro and the Hallman pro RX which has the ceramic ball and the light and heavy spring... Which of those 3 MBCs I listed is best for just turning the boost up to say 21-22 psi for street use? Anyone have any problems with any of these? Any of the 3 the hands down winner? Thanks in advance.

Go ahead and get the pro RX. You can buy it cheap from Ultimate CC here on the forums. Even if your only going to 21psi the RX comes with the stiffer spring, so you dont have to buy another boost controller. Also i went from the TurboXS to the Hallman and boost felt alot smoother and came on a bit quicker.

I have the hallman evo pro and I love it. Boost feels great all throughout the rev range.

Get the hallman. If you search more you will see alot of problems with the early Forge's. They claim to have fixed the problem (crazy spike), but not worth the risk IMO.

thanks for the quick responses, with my mods and such 21-22psi seems to be where I should be running on 93 pump gas correct? Also, should I use the soft or stiff spring for that?

i had both the forge and the hallman... the forge is a piece of sh** and would over boost no matter how many times i "compressed" the spring. Get the hallman as it is very reliable. I bought the hallman pro rx

I'm at 21-22psi on 93 with the PRO RX and heavy spring.

So use the stiff to set it to like 21-22 psi which is like.... 1.4-1.5 kg/cm^2 on my stupid MR gauges lol. One of these days I'll buy a psi boost gauge just been continually stickin with the stock MR gauge. Seems like with the MBC Im going to be maxing out the capacity of it tho at 1.4-1.5 kg/cm^2... But that's as far as I'll be going so it'll be good enough.
