Geoff, all I'm getting at is that it's very hard to believe you optimized the header design without EVER testing it on the car. How did you arrive at the header's runner volume and/or length and/or bend radii? Was it all eyeballed?

Like I said, normally it goes: test first, then release product. This bassackwards approach is totally baffling. It's practically indefensible.

I'm sure your success on other platforms was not achieved in this manner... your reputation for good product makes this approach with the Evo that much more puzzling.

Yes, Full-Race draws something pretty, then makes it....

IF you have ever looked at any of there manifolds you can see there was an TON of time put in to designing it.

Have you designed a manifold before?

I don't know if you've ever driven a 3076R equipped EVO, but if you have, you'll know the difference immediately.

Naturally that will depend heavily upon your other hardware and tuning capability, but it will be interesting to see if you can get there with the .78 A/R housing. I might also suggest running 2-3psi more boost than you ordinarily would, and see where that puts you.

Hey Ted,
You think the .78 is too tight? Its like a .58 undivided housing right?

I have AMS' 3076 kit on now. The 3076r makes ou wonder how much better is the 35r. So I'm warning you now to get ready for that when it comes. Not if, but when.
