i know this might sound a little stupid.
But the guys over at the dealer said that my warranty would be voided if anyone else installed stuff onto my car that delt with the engine.
They also said that if i needed to get some aftermarket parts installed that i should go to them and have them install it so the warranty stays intaked incase if they mess up on the install.
It this correct?
And if i install the TT myself would they have even notice ?
i wanna know before they screw me over by chargin me a crap load for something i coulda installed myself for free.

thanks.

Finished my install.... here are the post-install photos..

From sitting position looking at the tech & DTT
I used two layer of double sided tape to angle the DTT

DTT from side

Nicely zip-tied and wrapped vacuum tube for the stock look..

does anybody know where i can get the HKS or the Blitz harness? i got the Greddy one awhile ago (before i read this) and realized i had to do some modification to the harness, which i'm not about to do because the main reason i bought the harness was to avoid splicing and what not. any suggestion?

btw, does anyone want a Greddy harness?

I would look at the EVO Vendor forum... email those vendors
that offer electronics for our car... most likely they will have the
harness....

I used HKS harness for 95-99 eclipse... works w/o modifications..

Do the standard harnesses that are available allow boost gauge function hookup?

Did it take long for the boost function to die?

What type of boost guage did you get?

Are the turbo timers hard to install?, can you do it yourself?, do you have to have a supplemental harness?
I just bought the blitzz, kind of nervous about hooking it up myself. also where did you guys hook the vac tube at?

Only DTT comes with boost gauge... FATT reads a/f ratios...

The only downside of DTT is that it only display in hkPa format..
(which is 1 atm or close to 1 bar, I believe)... no psi's...
