Exedy Triple Plate Chatter Question

This Exedy is chattering BAD. I know it is normal to get a little chatter with a multi-plate clutch but this is LOUD. It only happens when I have the clutch pedal pushed in. It also gets louder the higher the rpm Example: pushing clutch in and reving the engine. You do NOT hear any chatter when the clutch pedal is let out. So from what I've read it can't be the throw out bearing. because that usually happens when the clutch pedal is let out. Is this correct? I've read different things. Please let me know. I HOPE its not the throw out bearing. but man this thing is LOUD.

Clutch chatter is usually not described as a noise, but rough engagement. What you are describing is floater rattle. The floaters between the discs will rattle on the posts which is normal for that type of design. When the clutch grabs hold, they stop rattling. It doesn't cause any problems, just noisy. Get used to it.
