Code P0300

I went to the track for the first time last night and on my second run my check engine light came on. I had it checked and P0300 is the code that's coming up and it's for random multiple cylinder misfires. Any ideas on what would cause this?

There is a little tube under your intake manifold. Feel around under there because it probly came off. It came off due to high boost.......zippe tie it................Atleast I think it was the 300 code........

P0300 code is for mutiple random cyclinder misfire. It can be a real or false code. Things that can fasly trigger it are loppy cams or too much timing at idle from a recent tune or ecu flash. If the light only comes on when the car is idling more than likley you do not have misfire, but if the light comes on when you are accelerating or driving you could really have a misfire which could be bad. Things to check...plugs and plug wires.

deffinetly check your spark plugs and for a vacum hose bieng off. it can lean out the idle and cause it to throw this code also.

+1, also, not to sound like a d1ck but do a search. They're a lot of threads on this code because it is pretty common.
