That is completely wrong. Go pick up a thermo book and look up the equations for compressor power.

Okay so what I'm hearing is cold air = good, and I should get a flash tune after I have my intake installed.

The next question is what kind of intake will give me the best performance? (and can I install it myself?)

Thanks everybody

Buschur makes a cold air intake for an evo without the intercooler bottle or acd.

You, sir, need to stick with your 350z and leave the turbo theory to the turbo people. Colder air compressed by the turbo is still going to be colder than warmer air compressed by the same turbo. The intercooler is going to drop their ambient temperatures the same amount.
