i would try straightening the "honeycomb" on the maf as much as possible, or borrowing one from a local evo driver to see if it fixes your issue. try cleaning the maf sensor and check for vaccum leaks also.

I think every car reacts different to mods, I put all my mods without a tune at first and the car ran fine just like stock with no problems while other guys had big problems with just adding a intake.

Karmen Vortex MAF's are extremely sensitive to intake piping on these cars. At least 2 other local club members have had idling issues when going to an aftermarket pipe, both recirculated BOV's as well.

Perhaps the recirc tube to the intake pipe is messing with airflow metering depending on how that flow re-enters the pipe?

mikiblueeyes: Now that I just read your coming off boost comment I am more inclined to say its the re-circ tube messing with airflow metering.

Another Edit: Can you alter the way in which the recirc tube points as air hits the intake pipe? Perhaps point the recirculated air toward the turbo somewhat more.
