So far it's fine, but I plan on getting a new clutch next semester. I just have to get some more funds together. I haven't launched the car yet because I know if I do that I will most likely be slipping throughout the rest of the gears, haha. No, I haven't made it to the track yet, I would really like to but, I honestly don't want to because of my clutch.

i cant make up my mind on a kit. debating between this and the green. its not a money issue, just cant decide what id prefer for a street car that very rarely sees the strip.

 

I understand man, it is a tough decision for sure. The difference between me and you is that ever since I rode in a 35r powered Evo for the first time, some 2 years ago, I have always wanted one. It wasn't about the spool up, it was about the ultimate power that it produced, the feeling that you get when the turbo is at full boost. I won't ever forget those times and now I am happy that I can have it always, although I know I will get used to it. I haven't even had the experience with my turbo yet to feel it at 30psi, soon enough though. I rarely ever take my car to the strip either.
Just decide on what you want and then take it from there.

 

Just thought that I would update everyone. We will be fine tuning my car on pump gas again on the weekend of the 15th. My tune is awesome how it is, but with only 30 minutes on the dyno, Nick is going to make some more adjustments. We are going to get a solid baseline on the DTM mustang dyno for pump gas, so that we can get some good dyno plots and then early the next week we will be tuning the car for 30psi and methanol. I just have to make a few adjustments to my methanol setup and that is why it will be done on a later date. Although the car will be tuned on two different days, we will at least be working with the same dyno so we can all see the relative gains it will make with meth and some more boost.

 

Made up my mind.............I am going with the 67 trim and 2.3 stroker. Cant wait for the meth numbers.

Definitely, the valve cover hasn't even ever come off. Although it will soon so I can put the headstuds in.

The 2.3 stroker is going to get ordered after christmas and the 67 trim is going to get ordered shortly after. Money is tight right now cause of Christmas and 3 B-Days back to back. I am also ordering Magnus SMIM, 1200cc injectors, and AEM EMS, Aquamist meth kit, Exedy twin, and gonna have the transmission built. Everything should be in the car by early spring. I gotta take the car all the way to washington to my tuner/builder and the snowy pass with the car trailer is not a good idea.
