just installed megan turboback
just installed megan turboback
so i just installed a megan racing turboback exhaust with the new black version of the catback. Install was good except for a few hickups like the hangers and running around to find an o2 socket to get that off. It fit perfect and everything and sounds fantastic. One thing i noticed this morning that i wanted to ask is that when i give it gas in any gear i can hear sort of a hissing sound. I checked for leaks and i don't think i saw any but im not sure. Is it possible that it is just the turbo spooling and thats all im hearing. Let me know. also i used all new gaskets except for the donut gasket from the downpipe to the o2. it looked great so i didn't go out to get a new one. thanks.
1) Did you also add any type of intake or cone filter?
2) Just looking around the engine bay for possible leaks won't always cut it. You probably need to do a real boost leak test. Search these forums for a how-to...
