I haven't been around long enough?? Now that one made me laugh alittle. Trust me Dave, I've been around long enough.

Are those ACL race series bearings? Those bearings look extremely nice with all that abuse. I've also ran the ACL's in the past, good bearings.
I had the same good results with Crower rods, but that was until I started making well over 800+whp and spinning my motor up to 10,500rpm, then the bearings would start to get wiped out.

Yes, standard crank.

Dave have you looked at any aftermarket cranks that have better oil flow through them at high rpm, as the standard oil drillings arent made for the best flow only for reduced time when making the crank.

There are tricks you can do to the stock crank to help improve oil flow to the bearings.

no one on here is trying to say that aluminum rods are the only way to go, just stating that they might, spending some testing, be a great option for a high horse power street car, its a shame that a good tech thread like this has to be ruined by a pissing match such as this. I have met paul once before, and can say i dont really care for the guy, but it doesn't mean i am going to come out a start taking away from his thread. Jake said it the best, you guys need to grow up fast, its time to act like grown *** men, instead of like little girls, good god

Thanks Dave, I take it the ones you tried didnt do what you wanted seeing you use the stock on your engine.
