I tryed talking him out of this some time back. We really crossed the point of no return at the end of last summer.

I try to forget the fact that its a '05 SSL with 40k.

well now its a 05 with nothing with 40k and 1014hp. if the dealer had one or too of these in stock id buy one. hehehe

those pistons look like mine...

Might be because I also have custom JE pistions with thick as wrist pins! I think your running much higher compression though(flat top?) im at a poor 8:5:1

so whats all of this about cylinder wall clearance??? if a pison is .020 overbore don't you just bore the cylinder wall out to .020 over? I dunno I just had a machine shop do mine. hopefully they did it right
