Is there a large improvement in spool characteristics on the HTA35 over a standard GT35R?
I love the top end of my 37R but the low end is just non existent. At least it keeps me off the boost though

Yes, there is a pretty substantial gain in midrange with the HTA35r over the normal 35r, that's what the actual "selling" point of the turbo is.

Waiting really-really-really SUCKS!!!

Seems like I am waiting on everything right now. I have two turbine housings coming, 3 intake manifolds, a check valve and a part I just called to have CNC'd today.

Damn, I'm ready to do more testing!

I see someone just got one here on EVOm, I'd like to try the housing but the a/r would have to be atleast a .82 for me to be interested.

I'll look into it maybe.

i have a 1.06. im at a stand still with my project. i might be pulling the turbo off the car for either hta mod or someing different. i have compressor surging issues i cant seem to fix so my options are anti sure cover or hta or new setup. so im at a stand still here cause i have roughly $3.71 to my name right now. haha. so if i pull it off and are times are right maybe ill send it to you.

EVodan, I already tested the 1.06. What turbo kit do you have on your car now?

I got two turbine housings in today. I also got my CNC'd flanges I needed. The car should be ready to run tomorrow. I'm going to put it back on the dyno and see what happend with this new turbine housing change. I have some kick *** data from all this, so atleast it's been educational.

If this testing of the turbine housing goes well I will then be ready to test some intake manifolds that ended up here.

Put the car on the dyno today, again. I can see this engine being over 100 dyno pulls before March.

683 whp and 620 ft lbs. This is a new record for the car. 20 psi of boost at 4400 rpm, yes, this is on a 2 liter.

Now the car is going to sit until I get to this intake manifold testing. Hoping to find a few more HP there.
