turbo conversion???

does anyone know where i can find the parts to convert a evo9 turbo to a 20g?? if so whats the site. i need help bad. im trying to replace my evo8 turbo which has gone bad on me.

yea i found 20g compressor wheels on ebay for that turbo but what about turbine wheels?? do i need to replace it as well??

You cannot do it yourself, unless forced performance will sell you the wheels they made for the evo green/20G-LT. Both the compressor and turbine wheels are custom, and the compressor covers and turbine housing need to be machined to fit the wheels.

Well have him machine you custom wheels then, because the only ones that exist are produced by FP, and they're used in their evo greens.

i dont wanna risk something like that. i mean him machining the housings is one thing but for him to make my compressor/turbine wheels is another. dont think i wanna go that route. i may try to contact fp and see if i cant pick up those wheels from them

Does your machinist know how to properly balance a turbo? There's a lot more involved than just slapping it together ya know! My suggestion is to just send it off to FP and have them build it into a green and be done with it.

well i just wasnt lookin to spend 1k on converting it. if i have to i will though b/c i know you get what you pay for.
