Today I installed my RMR intake which was a very easy install. After installing it I took it for a drive and wow is all I can say. It didnt do much performance wise but this makes the car sound mean as hell! Just a push of the accelerator and it hisses. I mean this thing is unbelieavably loud. You can here the stock BOV EXTREMELY well with this intake. If anyone else has this they will know how loud it is but for everyone else who doesn't have one you need to get it. This thing seriously gives you that VTA BOV sound. Now with the purchase of the Forge BOV this thing should be crazy loud!

 

lol, i love that whoosh / chirp .. from the bov's. freaks the sh#t out of people heheh. and then you think to yourself "yes, that is me. thank you."

 

did you get just the filter or the pipe and filter assembly? Notice any loss in low end torque?

 

yeah, let us know how it helps/hurts your performance. I've heard some things on this forum about after-market intakes actually hurting total power.

If anyone else has an intake or knows more stuff about them, please share. I am undecided if I should get one or not.

 

I put mine on last week but I already had a 3" turbo back and MBC on. Did not hurt and may have helped a little at higher RPM.

 

It definatley didnt hurt the performance. It hardly made any gain at all except for a little up top. Torque is the same.

 

I have the RMR induction pipe and intake and it seems more responsive. I have the Greddy type S and it is loud...

The DP and exhaust really made made a differnce in spool time...

 

I just ordered the RMR intake pipe and the new K&N evo intake filter. Can't wait to install.
