I was told that a stock turbo can get 450WHP

What mods should I do to get 450WHP?

note: I have a stock 05 evo

 

TBE,MBC,open filter or drop in, fuel pump,cams,meth kit,ported exhaust,hotside and 02housing.THe most important thing is a tune after all that.

 

you will need:

3 inch turbo back exhaust
Intake
Cams
Injectors
fuel pump
Lower IC pipe
O2 housing
meth
great tune
great driving

 

Great driving gives more WHP?

 

Add a turbo kit to that list...

Intake and bov should yield you about 400whp.

I have never heard of this much power from a stock turbo but im not saying its not impossible. I think along with turboback exhaust,o2 housing,cone filter/drop in filter,boost controller,upper and lower intercooler piping,bigger intercooler,fuel pump,cams, the main thing you will need to make this goal a reality is 100% meth and a very good tune. Why not just get a bigger turbo . 330-400whp is usual the max for a stock turbo on pump fuel alone.

There is so much scattered mis-info in this thread I want to puke.

The only way to make 450whp on the stock turbo is to have a fully maxxed out setup on racegas/meth using the highest reading dyno possible, like a dynojet with no weather correction on a cold *** day. What does WHP mean to you anyway? What are you going to use it for?
