I 2nd the question "Who did your tune?" or more to the point. did you get your car tuned for those mods?
You just can't go tossing on 780cc injectors and not get your A/Fs adjusted.
You'll be running pig rich. The other mods you can get away without a major tune.

I did get a tune, but I'm not going to disclose who did it.

I am up for sending my map to any tuning pro to at least look at it.

there car runs good,, maybe the power is low, or maybe i just suck at the track.. car feels like a beast on the street. however, i don't really have anything to compare it too.

thanks for all the input.. the dd that i went on is a low reading one if i'm not mistaken... but i reference what i did before and after the tune.

i made 20whp up top by just swapping turbo's on pump gas. that is about average right?

I need to get another tune just to have someone check it out, but unfortunately i'm 2 hrs plus from atl....

I was just asking. It is good that you were retuned.
It may be that there is more left on the table that can be added before getting into the "danger zone".
My car is my DD, and I have similar mods as yours - the difference is I have an VIII, so I have cams (you have
mivec, but could use cams too) I have a more restrictive exhaust though - Greddy Evo2 - and I use meth to keep the knock away.
I am happily running in the high 11's. For refernece, here is a clip of some runs - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuXGJxaZLDA

As was said - you got off the line fairly well, so that isn't it.
Unless you are a hardcore dragger, anything better than 1.8 60' is pretty good. Getting the evo launch down is an art.
But you should have been closer to 8 flat in the 1/8th at around 88-90mph.

Nothing outrageous - just your garden variety bolt ons.

AEM intake
AMS IC and lower pipe
Greddy 660 injectors
Helix 272 I/E cams and gears
Green snail
eBay O2 housing (the good kind )
HKS DP, UR 3" cat, Greddy Evo2 catback
SMC kit
Iveytuned

There are better performing parts out there, but I'm happy. My exhaust is restrictive at higher rpms, but it's quieter and keeps the local popo off of me.

Hey man - are you anybody on evo-ny ???

i'm not sure.. i'm thinking of having them tune my car....

was yours on a 20g or stock? what your complete modlist... of course, i was at jackson dragway in sc, so tracks are different, i just don't know how my times are slower from stock...

what would be a typical 1/4 time with 85mph in the 1/8? maybe the 1/4 mile sensor is off cuz of my mph was wrong in the 1/4... maybe my time was too...

i don't know,, it sucks,

I listed my complete mods...full br tbe no cat...boost controller at 22 psi and k and n filer...thats all...yes this was on stock turbo. Yeah look into topspeed...i think they are great.

me too....i learned i dont know how to launch my car.....

2.2 sec. 60ft, either wheel spin or bog
8.2 1/8 et
92.4 mph 4 passes total @ 88.7 (missed 2nd), 92.4, 92.4, 92.8

these runs were on 91 oct......it comes down to supporting mods working together + the tune.

i never gave much consideration to the 2step, but after the other night, i learned i cant launch my car....

i put some data into the car after reviewing/searching the forums....what a mistake it was to goto the track without doing this research.

i am willing to bet i can go 7.7 @ ~93/94 after todays testing....i will most likely need to grab 4th gear.

That is one uber high reading mustang dyno.

Car seems very slow from start to finish, have your tune looked at or maybe you just need the driver mod
