Sounds like dynojet numbers.

Doesn't really matter to argue I guess if the car runs well, they are just tools anyway.

the 1/8th is off for the mods but your boost is too low also..

84mph in the 1/8th would be about 109mph in the 1/4. You should be in the 90+/116+ area and around 400awhp on 93 octane. Then again, you're missing the fmic and cams so that might be a tall order for the car in it's current mod level.

seems like you put the cart before the horse but I still think it should be faster with a good tune.

Mine's an EVO8 but I went 11.78 @ 117 @ 26psi 1.66 60' on 93 octane with the evogreen for reference. I only made a few passes with that setup so I feel like I could have gone faster with a little more tuning time at the track to maximize the performance.

I had what I thought was a really clean run, however my time suckd ballz.

here is the time: (1/4 mph was off from the track, maybe the time was too)

r/t .293
60 1.778
330 5.304
1/8 8.298
mph 84.11
1000 10.871
1/4 12.999
mph 21.66

I can't break down timeslips, but like i said, i felt good and the car felt good.. I didn't power shift, but I didn't miss gears or anything...

here is the stuff 2step at 6k

mods
evo green
780cc pte
255lph pump
act hdss clutch
apex filter
esperlir downpipe
cat delete
mr catback
mr 02 housing
ams lower intercooler pipe
boost at 20-21 (greddy type S)on pump 93

full weight evo ix ssl

i'll post the datalog zeintroix later.

just for ****s and giggles, I ran consistent 12.3-12.7 with basically the same minus inj and evo green with i had stock turbo.

Where would 92-93mph in the 1/8 put you a mph wise in the 1/4?

i didn't know you could run 26psi on 93 with evogreen?

unless the timing was back significantly down..

?of course, i'm no expert..

can someone look at my map and tell me if it needs a lot of work? or should i just carry it somewhere else..

You will have to go into 4th if you're trapping that high, assuming your rev limiter is 8000 or less. I had a problem getting mine in 4th, I don't know if it's me or the clutch starting to go. Anyways my only two passes were:

1.65 60ft
7.66 @ 82.3mph - missing 4th

1.64 60ft
7.48 @ 93.1mph - ran 3rd out longer then missed 4th

These were both on E85 @ 25psi.

the rule of thumb is to add 25mph to the 1/8th mph...if you're under 25mph that means the car is falling apart on the big end, knock, poor shifting etc..

if you're picking up more than 25 that means you're 1/8th isn't all it could be...bad 60' bad shifting etc..

this doesn't always hold true! but it's a rule of thumb

92-93mph in the 1/8 should get you ~ 117-118mph roughly

Precisely 25mph

a good combination of supporting mods such as FMIC, ported 02, ported exhaust mani and a good tune makes it's possible.

boost is just a measurement of pressure in the intake and isn't always going to get you more power. You have to figure out what your car likes. 26psi on a ****ty setup is going to get you air hotter than the 7th level of hell into the intake and exhaust gases reversing back into the head, thus you're going to have to pull out so much timing that the car just isn't going to be fast.

I am on the stock turbo ('05 Evo) and my first and only drag strip run was:

60ft- 1.72
ET- 8.01
MPH- 89.9

Thats bouncing off the rev limiter in 3rd for atleast 12 feet crossing the line. Short of bumping the rev limiter to 8k, I cant think of a good way to improve my times/MPH.
