Hello everyone. I am currently doing a Full-Race gt3076r turbo upgrade in my garage. everything is coming along very well, but my question to you all is about my exhaust. Currently, i have an Apexi N1 exhaust on my car but it is not a "true" 3 inch. with the new turbo setup, should i consider doing a 3 inch exhaust or should i not waste my time/money on not gaining few hp because of it?? let me kno guys..

 

I would upgrade. Why spend all that money to just leave an obvious weak link?

 

I would go for the 3" thats for sure

 

i'd rather spend money on other stuff before you upgrade the exhaust again, im pretty sure your apexi well do you some good for now. maybe like spend money on cams, meth, bigger intercooler, etc. then when your almost out of things, go for the exhaust

 

ya dont worry about the exhaust there are other things better to buy

Does it just have one place where it necks down or is it the entire pipe? Most 3" exhausts are OD which means it is really like 2 3/4" ID. I just installed a HKS exhaust for a customer that had a horrible neck down. It is good to think about these things!
