Which would be the better cam set for me?

I'm torn right now between ordering a set of Brian Crower 272*s or a set of GSC S1's, and I'm trying to figure out what the better set would be for my car. So far my mods are in my sig and I picked up an ETS 3.5" fmic to toss in as well (overkill, but I got a good deal on it). Currently I'm also on the stock 9.8 hotside although I will be upgrading to a 10.5 in the near future with any luck, and at the most down the road probably an FP Green. I mostly daily drive the car for now, but I do want to get back into auto-x in the upcoming year or 2. That being said, which set would suit my style of driving the best? I'm thinking the GSC's but I'm still not too sure.

I would still have to go with the GSC's as with everyone that put them in their cars love em. I don't see how Brian Crower 272's would have a better advantage for the setup you are using.

That is not aggressive enough. I am not a fan of an HKS 264.

To the OP the BC cams require cam gears to make adjustments in order to make them perform just as good as HKS 272's. The GSC s1's make a much better powerband than the HKS 272's. I would do S1's. It has been tested. You can see the write up on this on the home page.

I agree w/ RevMoto that the HKS 264 is not aggressive enough, but I would go w/ the s1's. I would be running them in my car had I not scored a great deal on my 272/280 combo. I rode in a buddies car this weekend who just had the s1's installed and they drive great and pull smooth and hard. My setup w/ adj. cam gears hits a little harder, but you cant go wrong w/ GSC and the s1's.

Yeah, I read the write-up done on the home page, and that's honestly what made me think twice about the crower 272 set. I've also thought about the HKS 272 set, but honestly the price is a little higher than I'd like to spend. If I'm going to shell some decent cash I want results, not just an overpriced fancy name. Thanks for the input so far!
