Thanks for all the info everyone.

Sean Ivey, I emailed you about this but did not get a reply back so I posted my question on this forum to see opinions...

I will turn the boost down so I get 23psi.

Thanks again.

From: 900 pounds lighter than a X.
A very good friend of mine had his car tuned by Sean and it's over in Europe now.
It has yet to miss a single beat and runs amazing.

also keep in mind the greddy profec reading of psi may be off alittle as well - it may be a good idea to have another accurate boost gauge to verify.

whats your set gain % at? i believe this should be around 4psi less than your targeted boost.

I could have sworn I replied to you, sorry if I didn't I get confused sometimes :-)

Either way just turn it down a bit, when you were tuned we had discussed it I told you i liked 23psi, you wanted more I told you more won't blow the engine but I still recommend 23psi.

We used a mechanical boost gauge on the dyno to set the actual boost.

It's a little autometer boost gauge on the dyno table that we whip out for that purpose.

My set gain is at 15%, my gain was at 80% but I turned it down to 72% getting 23/24psi on profec's reading.
Anyone know if greddy reads to high or to low?
