My AMS 2.3RR 37R Build
As it sits right now. It made 371whp on the Dynamics which everyone knows is a very low reading dyno. This was on straight wastegate pressure, no additional boost, no crazy timing changes and we only rev'd it up to 7400. This is pretty much just running on the base map with adjustments just to get the A/F where it should be. The car is running so far out of its efficiency range its rediculous. But as said before we are just breaking in the motor right now. I was actually very impressed that it hit those numbers running on only wastegate pressure. We are going to put some miles on her before raising the boost.
I cannot describe to everyone how pleased I am with the outcome of the car. We took her out for awhile last night just as a test drive and she is absolutely amazing. There is nothing on the car that I would change right now. The car is making great power for what we have done so far. Sharif and the entire Forged staff worked incredibly hard on the car the entire week. All of the time and effort that went into this build really have paid off. I will also add that even after some frustration and impatience that I showed last week I could not be happier with my decision to take my car to Forged. I don't think I would have found a better quality shop anywhere in the southeast or maybe even the country that took care of me the way they did.
I will try to get a couple video's up later tonight, we took a few of the car driving by.
I think you have gotten the wrong impression from what you read or perhaps I did not explain correctly what was going on. Yes, its a 1500 mile breakin period, but I did not say I was going to be an ealy break in period. The plan it to put some miles on the engine, do several pulls in different gears and of courseseat the piston rings properly. I also said that the car would be going on the dyno for a breakin period, which is exactly what we did. Please do not assume that Forged is not doing this properly as they have done an exceptional quality job on every part of this build.
We started the car with no IC piping just to crank her up and make sure she would turn over. The car was on for a total of 2 minutes and how do you figgure we were lugging the **** out of the motor? The only throttle that was given was to keep the motor from stalling out, rev's never passed 2500 at any point. So that is what you are missing.

still dont like the i/c pipes being off when you started it but...
it is going to be one of the cars to watch. good luck and have fun.
looking for more updates when you get them.
Ya, I felt like we were getting mobbed by people everywhere we went last night. Im sure I could put that many on it in a week if I tried, lol. I will probably take my time with it though and will probably take around 3-4 weeks or so, unless you want me to make an effort to do it faster.
Also we got a quick video of a driveby from last night. Its a very poor quality video and its short, but its better than nothing. It gets up to speed very fast and I didnt think it would be a good idea to go way over the limit, so it ended up being short.

Im glad your doing the break in with some agression. For everyones benifit, if you wear the cross hatching on the cylinder walls down without the rings being pushed against them with a good bit of boost/power behind them they wont seat right.

We were so eager to get her cranked up that we figured it would be ok for a couple of minutes without the IC pipes on.
I'll keep feeding in updates as I can. This is always the most fun part of the project. Stay tuned.
Ah I see. I didnt mean it like not getting on it, I meant we were going to take our time with her. We have already done many many WOT pulls on the dyno and the street. She will get broken in correctly I promise!
I find it so ironic that the current setup on wastegate pressure makes as much power and maybe more than your previous green turbo and meth setup.
Hope to see you on the road this week! It would be an honour to ride with you.

Just goes to show you how strong that motor is. I would imagine it would be 450ish on the Dynamics on 20psi, but I guess we will just have to wait and find out. We plan to run somewhere around 25-28psi on pump, which should get us around 500-550 Dynamics. Its all just guessing at the moment though, no use in guessing, we'll just have to see what she does!
it seems like all of the high hp evo's in Atlanta are blue. late congrats Ryan on your set up. I just found out from Chad that it was done last night. We were tryn to figure out the 5 top (high hp) evo's in Atlanta...eitherway CONGRATS again!!!

Won't be crazy power yet though, gotta break her in nice and slowly
