No problems with it at all. The numbers it generates are identical to regular mode. And with regular mode, I can adjust the ramp rate as the tuning progresses, whereas ShootOut mode locks me out. Oftentimes, with a slower ramp rate, you can really pressure test the tune.

Once we have the COP system on and get the pump gas tune finished we will be doing the C16 map.

We had a little mishap with the COP system, so minor delay on that one. Anways, we retuned with some fresh two step colder NGK coppers, and ditched the ignition amplifier, and got some really nice results. Still on pump gas and stock ignition system, and 27psi for now. The car pulls like a raped ape!

evolunchbox, you guys are both in Georgia, I think a friendly race should be arranged on pump gas.

Good numbers.

We still need to get evolunchbox to dyno on the dynamics to see how our numbers compare to eachother. We're still not sure about the exact reading difference between the dynamics, mustang, and dynojet. Should be an interesting comparison.

You've got the 2.3RR, why cut the dyno runs off before 8500 RPM?

Nice numbers, though.

because its not done :P We were having ignition issues earlier uptop, but it seems to be better now. We plan to rev it to 8500 on the final tune. Dont worry, this motor is not going to be wasted. Dont forget, we are still waiting for the COP system aswell. Im already revving to 8000 on the street. We just want to be safe until we have everything working at 100%.

its AMS's standard 37R. I was in line to get the 1st HTA37R, but after seeing the results decided to stay with the standard 37R.

Awesome build!
I hope I'm not jacking the thread, and I know that its a bit arbitrary to compare different dynos, but since I have not seen a ton of 2.3 37R results, I though I'd just share for reference...
A fellow local Evo owner just made 610/552 on E85, and 521/432 on 91 (on a DynoJet at 6000' elev.) with a Buschur head, 2.3 block, 37R, and AEM EMS.
So, considering that you're on a Dyno Dynamics, I'd say your numbers seem very good already. Anyway, sorry if that is unappreciated posting, carry on, and once again congratulations

I'm a bit surprised to see such high numbers from a DD dyno. They are supposed to read a good chunk lower than a Mustang. In the UK there is several results of engines coming off the engine dyno, and onto a DD chassis dyno, and generally there is a 24% loss from flywheel to the wheels.

That means 520 hp DD should be 684 at the crank. Although, this is a 37R so actually maybe that is pretty close. Many 35R's in the UK do around 600 at the crank on pump, so a 37R should do more, so I think actually this does make sense.

Just to back the underdog... I will bet on this car versus a BR car on pump

BlueByYou... will you make it to the track on pump soon? And if so, are you a good driver?

I'm still down to do this, but I'm unsure of what you are trying to accomplish?
