Red and Green would probably make Brown, since it will probably knock the 'CRAP' out of everything else.Originally Posted by TeStUdO
Shouldn't it be called an FP "Yellow" if it's a mix between a red and a green?

I talked to Forced Performance this afternoon.
Look for the major new product release within the next 4 weeks, and maybe faster.

my friend called me today and said fp called him about his 9 turbo that's been up there a while. they were begining work on it but told him the hta option could be ready any day now. they are just waiting on wheels. since the turbo is going to me, i told him call them back and tell them not to make it a standard green and wait for the hta wheels. jesus you people trust no one. i dont blame ya but, then again, i dont really care, cause im getting one

To be honest with you the green does not impress me at all! It DOES NOT spool as fast as a stock turbo which to me is not worth the cost upgrade. My car is setup for auto-x so any loss in spool is bad for me. But for some of the street guys that just want to tool around the street then it is not as bad as a compromise.
I agree with Chad here and would like to see a turbo that spools as fast as stock (or faster) and makes more power using a different comp/turbine than the stock turbo, sort of a turbo in between a green and a stocker....

The Green's potential is only as high as most tuners/modders are willing to take it. The OKIX car clearly shows what can be done with full bolt-ons and SOME lightening of the car. I know many stock turbo cars that are lightened more and have just as many bolt-ons. Current times of 10.6 (4 in a row) with 60's in the 1.4 range doesn't make the Green a 'compromised' turbo. The power is there, it just needs to be extracted. With that said, Forced Performance is a PROVEN supplier of top-of-the-line turbos. No offense to anyone with CBRD at all, but the jury is still out on longevity, tunability, performance and quality on anything NEW to the market. Make no doubt about it, Forced Performance won't dissapoint anyone. I for one will be waiting on their next product and will prove once again, they're the one to beat.Originally Posted by phenem

Color me wildly interested with credit card in hand!
Questions-
1. Will the new turbo be based on the IX (hence bolt-on to stock or similar manifold)?
