4th gear grinds sometimes
Our standard fluid we use is MT90. We have options for Synchromesh, SuperMulti Gear oil and OEM 5sp oil. Everyone has their own opinion. MitsuDave for example does not like the MT90 and has or is moving back to Synchromesh.
Whatever our customers ask for is what they will receive, as long as its available at the time.

SYNCROMESH does not fix the 5th gear grind it is still there just wait till you change it and try something else it will be there when your finished. Syncromesh is a non-synthetic oil witch makes it really thin and have to be changed more often then mt-90 will or even oem for that matter.THE REASON WHY IT FIXS THE GRIND AS PEOPLE CALL IT IS cause it is thinner then synthetic oils there for alowing it to have a quick water type splash not coating anything after a while.

Miguel... IMO... i wouldnt put that crap Penzoil Syncromesh in the tranny. it has the consistency of water, offers no protection what so ever. yes i did use it for a while with no problems but when i saw Ryan drain out the tranny, it looked like water. i said never again.
Shep recommends Mt90, he builds these things daily, he should know more then anyone.
i will say this though, Mt90 when cold feels a little notchy but after it warms up the tranny shifts like BUTTA!

I used Syncromesh on my 05 for over 15k miles and never had any problems..Never tried the MT-90 yet but ill give it a shot, thanks
