94AWDcoupe, i'm going to attempt the grinding with a dremel (unless you meant something different by small grinder) tonight and i'm going to try to do it while the blade is still on the car since it spins freely and the area is pretty open since the exhaust side is removed. if you have any other recommendations to do it a different way, please let me know!
