Nice job Chris! Strong numbers. I'm kinda surprised there's so many doubters on here. I think you'll be trapping 120+ with no problems. With meth, I'm gonna call 122-123. I need to get a damn clutch and I have something new to try as well so I may end up talking to Mase rather than trying to catch Al. You've had good luck with him and I was awaiting to see what your results were so I'm happy. Once the clutch goes in we need to all get together one Sat. and rep.

And one more time for those who still can't find their way out of a paper bag:

No one has doubted anything except the dyno settings.

The End.

Nobody doubts the meth numbers, it is the pump that is unbelievable. The horsepower and torque don't add up let alone the number itself.

i said baseline on this dyno was 220-230WHP so i didn't double it

if i trap say 120 and stock the cars traps 104 then that's approximately 160WHP gain. Seems on the money to me. If 220-230 is high for a DD to read on a stock evo well then that's your answer.

i made somewhat the same numbers but i am spiking at 32psi. you can push a little bit over 400 hp on a stock turbo. grats man. but the only thing i am wondering is how you are doing it with less psi than me? then again you are in a evo 9 when i am in a evo 8. i looked at my turbo and i do have a 10.5. so the only thing you have that i don't have is the head. here is my dyno sheet with the mods listed below. if you look at both of our dyno pulls they almost look the same. other than i was on a dynojet.

It is.

An EVO 8 gives ~200-205whp on a DD set at "1.0", and a IX a few hp more. 230-235whp is typical of a Dynojet.

We know the dyno settings are different. We don't know exactly by how much, although now we have an idea.

A stock Evo IX will put down 200whp on a DD with a 1.0CF. A CF of 1.13 is 226. 1.13 is what a lot of DD operators will use to compare to DJ numbers. Some operators will go as high as 1.20CF. I operate a DD at the shop I work at and we will leave the CF @ 1.13 so that people won't cry about low numbers.

If he had a bad boost leak at the throttle body and then fixed it, then obviously the gains weren't just from the mods themselves.

I have personally seen a car gain 25whp from just fixing a TB leak.

A customer. The TB seals wouldn't even let me pressurize past 5psi with a boost leak test.

I've also seen a boost leak at a FMIC rob a car of 21whp/10wtq

with boost leak:

after fixing boost leak:

^I will take your word for it. I just bought some of the works seals for my stock TB when it goes on my magnus. I remember doing a boost leak test and hearing my Tb whistle around the 25 psi mark.
