I don't even think I pushed the envelope on the pump map to be honest, i would imagine i could probably squeeze another pound or two of boost without too many issues and make another 5-10WHP. I just want to be a solid 11-second pump car and hopefully get kicked out for no cage on meth. I'm easy to please.
No you couldn't make anymore power. You didn't make that. Again please post your dyno correction factor or nobody is going to give you any credit.

revmoto what makes you think your tuner is better? Mine is fairly reputable. Also my torque is way low compared to yours.

Maybe I will get dynoed on a dynojet this weekend just to see the comparison.

its because he has a majical manifold that gives him 200whp on stock turbo. i dont know just a guess. i dont know if i can make it tonight. and RevMoto, i was there two days ago which is the day after he dynoed. i went down to the shop and watched another evo dyno that makes 580 on a dynojet... and guess what, it did 508. I was there during the past few days including when MCWOP was dyno-ing i can assure you that no-one messed with the numbers unless they did it before they came. I did the work on his car and i was there during the whole thing. They may have some other correction factor but it was not done purposefully by me, MCwop, or anyone else that was with us, none of us even touched the dyno. i think you need to chill a bit and wait for his 1/4 times which we should be getting tonight

No one is accusing anyone of purposely manipulating anything, it's just for the sake of clarity. Actually, I recall reading somewhere (FWIW) that new DD's bound for the U.S. come set this way, and given the sudden rash of DDs here that read like DJs, this appears to be just another one in the bunch. Unless/until the correction factor (shall I tell you where to find it?) is known, these dyno results cannot be accurately compared to any other dyno. It's that simple, nothing more, nothing less.

We know this dyno doesn't read the way DD's were usually set, because 329whp on a DD in 'heartbreak mode' doesn't work out to 114mph traps unless one is launching in second gear, and stock EVO's don't deliver 220-230whp. FWIW, 370whp on a DJ typically churns out 117mph traps, so anyone with a calculator can get an idea of where things really are. Trap speeds are inarguable.

Given the traps and figures, the results look typical of DJ numbers, +/- the usual variances. I realize that may not be good news for those who were hoping for magick and pixie dust, but there is far more here to explain that this car behaves just as the hundreds before it that have gone the same route than otherwise. Of course, if the car repeatedly pulls off 127-128mph traps, then we're all wrong, but that isn't going to happen.

No, it'll pull of 122-123mph traps. Right where it should be. How bout we just throw this dyno out the window and wait until tonight. I'm sure there will be a frenzy then too. This is why I could care less putting numbers up here. You want to know what it puts down?.........Come out Sat. or Tues. or let's take a trip to Gville. simple as that.

i'd be ecstatic with anything in the 120+ range. My rev limiter is set at 8100, might have to play with that a little bit if all goes well.

Both of you just have no idea what you are talking about. A handful of us are in the 370whp range and have more mods. You both sound like complete newbs. I am sure his tuner is reputable. If you are just a customer he is not going to put the time in like my tuner does. That is not what I am talking about. Also I do manifold porting so I know how much power they make and what my borla does and that is why I make the power I do. I would easily be a 360 car if not because of it. Your pump numbers don't match up at all. First off your torque is wayyyyy too low for your hp numbers and evo's aren't gonna produce those unless things like weight in the calculation was changed to produce a higher number. The fact that you have yet to say anything about the correction factor shows you have no idea what that is. The blame is not on you but the shop with the dyno who gives people these numbers and they go on thinking they are way faster than everyone. Then you argue it was easy and you can spit out 10 more as if you were the one tuning the car. I will be waiting for the dynojet numbers. For your sake I hope they aren't lower than this DD. We had another guy that came on saying he made 405whp on pump with about the same mods as you and that got kicked out just as fast. I am sure that dyno sheet of yours says what the correction factor is but you are reluctant to say. Until you clarify this we are not going to believe you.

So, how bout your numbers? Maybe we shouldn't "believe you" either (like chris really cares who believes what anyways). You made 370's and only trapped 116 while chris trapped over 115 with 329 at the wheels. Sounds to me like YOUR numbers are a little high. And fwiw, I've worked with Tamer on my tune and I know Mase very well also. I don't think you can really say anything about what kind of time Mase put into the tune compared to what Tamer put into yours. In fact, I'm not even THAT big of a fan of Mases tunes but I'd throw money down on it that he's MUCH more of a capable tuner than Tamer.
