Official HTA EVOGREEN thread by FP
Let's take a look at CB's post in the "secret sauce" thread:
sorry, this still isnt the "final" version of our turbo. There are a couple of variations out there... the main testing was the compressor wheel....
There are versions out there with different clipped turbine wheels, we are still waiting on the new turbine wheel itself. It is taking some time, and we dont do anything quickly LOL!!
our goal was a turbo that matched or outperformed the green, but at a slightly less price point, and mainly, that we had in stock, or could turn around in 2 days.
there are over 100 evo ix cores on the shelf to build them new, so that part is covered.
...
I think right now, the compressor wheel alone with just a clipped turbine is a great option for autox guys, because the part throttle response is just MEGA.

I'm excited about the EvoGreen, a turbo that's already well proven, with the HTA upgrade that's being released almost as we type that has been well tested, with data to back it up, instead of a couple butt dyno opinions. Get on the bus, and have some fun!
Turbo Kyle, if you don't want to buy a Green, why are you always in this thread, touting something else? First it was Deadbeat turbos, now CBRD. Every time, what you post about the EvoGreen alternatives is inaccurate.
Let's take a look at CB's post in the "secret sauce" thread:
So, the "secret sauce", whatever that means, still does not exist, but we know for sure that (1) it's not near production (2) the turbine wheel is stock, or a stock wheel that has been clipped, or something that is still under development, and (3) compressor wheel "upgrades" without a larger turbine wheel to balance it have been done in the past (search for "White Rabbit") and are not remotely equal to the current EvoGreen, much less the EvoGreenHTA, and (4) if it is ever released, it will be only "slightly less" than an EvoGreen -- so what's the point?

Ok VR4, I flew off the handle but like I said be happy that people have an option. FP makes great turbos and no one is saying different. Who knows maybe we can have a FP vs. CBRD magic turbo shoot out one day.

Therefore i can do all the convincing a want, but if he don't have the money he doesn't have the money.
Meanwhile, if you're wanting to size up the EvoGreen for comparison to whatever you're running, I recommend your taking a look at the OKIX car as an example of what the current Green can do. Here, just click this: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=310098
My green is going in soon. I don't need all the engineering data, if its better than the standard green which Robert says it is, I really dont care about compressor maps, lbs. per minute, ceo's, or eieio's. People it's going on the street, 1320 feet or around on a track day, not to the moon.
Once again like it has been asked before, FP red will that be available anytime in the future. Please Answer the question. This information will help determine which way I should take my setup and I am sure others are in the same boat.

Sorry Robert, but I'm going to answer this one. FP builds the best turbos in my opinion. I based my intake around FP std Green, if the HTA runs like Robert says and I for one believe him, this will be one kick *** street turbo. Like I said before I built my manifold for 9sec9 and my engine program based on the std Green, this new HTA will set the bar higher still, a good street combo...no...a great one...yes. Keep up the great work Robert and all at FP.
