Let me be utterly clear on something. I am glad you brought this up because I heard of the invalidation made in Wakeman. I'll triple the anty. Wakeman is NOT the authority they think they are. They can bring their happy BEhinds down here and I will pay $1500 for those who can beat the record on this dyno. We can video it, bring independent judges, pay per view, I don't care. This dyno crap is just that...crap. No respect for anything other than their own? Nah it doesn't work that way.
Now we have to claim personal records on our own machines to make the forum happy? NO
Bottom line is they have about 32 more HP to go to catch up to us!!. As far as I'm concerned the ball is still in ohio's court. We did our duty. **** the customer actually went to the track. NOT ONE "pump gas" car from there has shown an inkling of track numbers yet. Its been how long since the tracks have been open?
They can drive down here to prove their point, we already did our part.

Yes agreed there is no standard HOWEVER, perception wise it is the standard. Now to change that perception, taking the DTM car to Ohio seems like a great way to move perception.
And ultimately, regardless of all the personal bitterness and what not, some useful information would be gained from both parties on how their dynos are setup and compare to each other.

As a side note, the customer is more than able to come down here if they like. We really do not have the burden of proof. Those who trail in the standings do not get home field advantage.
Now Perception? In the next few months perception will be viewed on a new scale.
Sorry if it seems harsh, but no one on this forum has any idea what has happened behind the scenes. If they did, the "perception" would have shifted a long time ago.
I will let it take its course, as it will unfold nicely in due time.

Nick, nobody does know what has happened behind the scenes and thats reality and it should stay that way.
As far as the community is concerned the Dyno at Buschurs is pretty well the standard and this week we should get more info on how close the two are. As for Jeff coming down, I'll talk to him and see if he is interested. I'll even pay for his gas.
I know what you have been through and where this is all coming from but please, keep the focus on the work. You do your thing too well to sell your work short. Let it speak for itself.

Agreed, except I have no intentions to drag my car all over the place to prove anything to anybody. Was not built with anything like that or any kind of "records" in mind. Just for me to have some fun with.
subscribed,, This is going to get interesting i can see.. congrats none the less..
id like to see what the car traps at the track.. when you pull 4th gear at the track it will really show how much power a car is really making.. if it lives thru 4 gears that is of course..

Unfortunately "fourth gear" tells you little to nothing. Consistancy will dictate the level at which his car and tune are at.
