As far as the community is concerned the Dyno at Buschurs is pretty well the standard and this week we should get more info on how close the two are. As for Jeff coming down, I'll talk to him and see if he is interested. I'll even pay for his gas.

I know what you have been through and where this is all coming from but please, keep the focus on the work. You do your thing too well to sell your work short. Let it speak for itself.
The buschur dyno is the standard for buschur. Other than that it is no standard, nor should it be the dyno of all dynos. Its really stupid to even think of one dyno in that way.

I sat down with Joe at the DTM BBQ and introduced myself, I was able to pick him outta the whole crowd, calm and collected and just full of enthusiasm for the evo and its community. I look forward to spending quality time at the track with ya Joe.

Boost!

So am I a sackrider? I do think there is a perception and not an unfair one that David has been the one shop most willing to put their work to the test on the dyno for everyone to see.

Nick and DTM understand the value of such transparency of testing and are doing things in a similar way. I applaud them for it and for their work. With that said DTM is NOT getting the respect that is equal to the level of their work right now. If they continue to perform at this level (and I think they will), they will gain the respect of a lot of folks.

As they are just now putting down these huge numbers however why is it odd to think that folks would wonder? In short its not unreasonable to see a car on each dyno and compare.

I would also say that posts like the above add fuel to the fire that this community does not need. Shop wars help nobody and end up ugly in ways that are simply unfair to all involved. In other words lets keep it civil and let the work speak for itself.

So you honestly think the Buschur dyno should be the standard for all dynos? Why?

I don't think my post is starting shop wars, or any problems for that matter. Just stating the fact that NO one dyno should be considered the standard, that is exactly what causes shop wars and causes people to get irratated. For example, so and sos dynos his evo on so and sos MD dyno and makes 500-600+ whp on 93oct, that persons dyno numbers should in no way be doubted because the numbers were not made on so and sos dyno.

Closed and to be trashed. Why?

Because we are done getting reported posts from vendor's and members and vendor's and vendor's. It is a ludicrous cycle of fan the flames then report the fire. No matter what we do, one of you knuckleheads will take exception and send a nasty PM to a mod or staff member. Act like kids and we will moderate as such. If you can't discuss a milestone without throwing out an innuendo, baiting comment or flame at another vendor or member your THREADS will be removed. If you are a vendor and your thread gets trashed, tough. It's your responsibly to police your threads and keep the idiots out of it via reported posts. That includes the idiots bashing your competitor in your thread.

The losers of course in all of this are the majority of members who would like unbiased information. But they can't get it because a few members and vendor's can't resist the chance to rip some one else.
